Working on Words

At the moment I am trying out new words everyday! It is really quite fun to try to mimic mum and dad. I think I like the letter “B” at the moment. I like saying bath, bird, book, and my all time fav – ball! I am also collecting a few other words like moo when I saw a picture of a cow, I like scratching my under arms like a monkey when I see a picture of a monkey, and I like making a noise like a cockatoo whenever I read one of my favourite books “Cockatoo Calling”. I also enjoy reading about wombats and kangaroos but they don’t make very fun noises! I also said something like teddy (but I think my parents understood me!)

I am enjoying playing in my kampung and can find my way to Ethan and Ezekiels house on my own. This morning Ibu Tati didn’t know the way so I had to lead her to their house so I could play with them! We often go to the park and play on the grass together! I enjoy watching the older boys fly their kites and I always try to get involved in any soccer match I can, but sometimes I get knocked over – but I always get right back up and keep going! Dad says that maybe I would be good at Rugby, maybe I could help out the NSW Blues side… although mum thinks soccer is a much nicer game.

Practice makes perfect!

Just getting some practice in for the next lucky lady! I wanna be just like my unky Dan!

it now makes sense!

After nearly three months of mum going to the toilet and making funny noises every morning it now begins to make sense. I think mum is growing some sort of alien in her belly that is making her sick. We went to the doctors today and I even saw a photo of whatever it was, and it was moving and wriggling and I could see it had two arms and two legs just like me, I could also see its fingers, no wonder mum is sick every day with that little thing wriggling around all over the place.

I have decided that the best way to cheer her up is to stand at the bathroom door every time she is sick and laugh at her! She usually ends up laughing too and forgets about being sick! Mum says the alien thing, which they have named ‘chilli’, will come out sometime in early December. Everyone in our kampung says I will have an adik to play with! An adik sounds like a lot of fun, I wonder if it bounces?
