Going Fast

I like to ride my bike fast! I push as fast as i can and fly down the hill like a rocket! it is so much fun! i race the local kids and they are always nice and let me win! At the moment my favourite car is lightning McQueen - kachaw!

Sharing a meal

We are starting a little tradition with a few of a neighbours which is a version of bring a plate! we all gather round and sit on the floor and eat lunch or dinner together. It is great fun, especially when we get to eat satay chicken - my favourite!

Nanny teaches quilting

Nanny came and stayed for a few weeks with us and got busy teaching quilting to our friend Ibu Dede. Ibu Dede is very smart and within a few days had picked it up and by the time Nanny had gone home she had completed this bag all by hand which she is very proud of! She hopes to sell it and begin a business making and selling quilted products. She is very excited! Nanny will have to come back and teach her some more quilting techniques!
We are thinking about how we can help her get started although no one knows much about sewing in our house. Mum thinks we might buy a sewing maching for our house which people can come and borrow.  
 
 

our veranda

I really enjoy playing on our veranda - we have a great view of peoples houses and we have an Indonesian flag which we put up for independence day. From the veranda we can see dad coming home from work!
