Mud, Waterfall and Satay - what a good day!

Today we went on an adventure to a waterfall just near our friends house. Dad did a great job of weaving the car through traffic, everytime I get a chance I jump into his seat and try to steer and change gears and say "broom, broom!"

We had to walk for about 40 minutes through rice paddies to get to the waterfall. It had been raining all day so the track was very muddy and everyone was slipping over and their shoes were covered in mud. I was high and dry in the back pack on dad's back. The water fall was really nice and some people put their feet in the water. There was a big sign that said "No Swimming" so no one went for a swim. On the way home I fell asleep in the backpack and it wasn't very comfortable! (look at the photo!)

When we got back to our friends house we had a big feed of satay chicken and lamb and I played with all my friends. By the time I got home I was so tired that I just flopped into bed and slept straight away! It was a good day - I would love to show you that waterfall sometime!

Hello little man,
You look so cute snuggled in there behind your dad. Nothing quite like the rocking motion to put you to sleep hey. Waterfalls are so beautiful. Did you stand under it? One day soon you will have to try. Love you heaps from Aunty Tess.
